About The Position

Responsible for managing medium to large-scale projects within an assigned functional area or across multiple entities. Takes ownership of the project lifecycle overall by guiding teams and staff, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and monitoring progress toward project goals. Ensures that the project is completed successfully and provides support to team members and stakeholders as they complete essential tasks. The Project Manager will work under the supervision of Dr. David Salat. They will be responsible for the management of multiple clinical research studies and the direct hiring and supervision of all staff, including Clinical Research Coordinators and Research Technicians. They will serve as the key liaison between the IRB, collaborating labs, site PIs, as well as all levels of study staff. They will also coordinate trial initiation, patient recruitment, and expedite project approval and study start-up time. Responsibilities also include participation in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for the projects, developing advertising strategies to support recruitment activities, oversee budget management and subcontracts with associated institutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required
Project management experience 2-3 years required
Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively.
Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines and experiences.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Develops comprehensive project plans, monitors, and manages projects from initiation through completion.
Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes.
Manages projects to ensure on-time completion, within specifications, and within budget.
Communicates regularly on project status with project stakeholders.
Owns project plans for medium to large-scale projects.
Provides guidance to project coordinators.
Identifies potential risks early, analyzes the possible impact, and develops mitigation strategies.
