About The Position

The Institute for Genomic Medicine (IGM) is a nationally recognized provider of genomic testing and research, supporting clinical trials and sequencing efforts. The Project Manager supports division leadership, the Business Operations Manager, and Administrative Director, managing administrative functions such as travel coordination, recruitment tracking, employee engagement, meeting preparation, and supervision of administrative staff. This role also oversees the administrative staff lifecycle, evaluates resource allocation, and drives process improvements. Responsibilities include communications, reporting, data analysis, financial and grant support, budgeting, and expense monitoring. Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, attention to detail, organization, and communication are essential. Leads cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality parameters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience, required.
  • Three years of relevant program or project support, required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and efficiently provide time management.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented with the ability to work well independently.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree, preferred.
  • Project management certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops project plans and timelines to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Manages project budgets when applicable and ensures financial goals are met.
  • Leads project team meetings and provides direction to team members.
  • Monitors project progress and addresses any issues that arise.
  • Communicates project status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensures project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
