The Project Manager will manage Biometrics project teams from study start-up through study closeout, overseeing departments such as Data Management, Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, and Medical Writing. This role involves managing multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities, from single service studies to large full-scope biometrics projects, global projects, and/or programs, with minimal supervision. The Project Manager will act as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, and project teams, promoting team communication, cross-functional collaboration, and team spirit. They will establish and maintain relationships to encourage repeat and new business, coordinate and lead team meetings, and create/distribute agendas and minutes. Key responsibilities include generating and maintaining timelines, milestones, and action items, managing project financials (estimating monthly accruals and initiating timely invoice generation), identifying change order items, overseeing and resolving issues, and escalating when necessary. The role also involves identifying, mitigating, maintaining, and resolving risks. The Project Manager will ensure required internal and sponsor training is completed, support the contract team with budgets and scope of work for contracts (SOW, WO, COs, etc.), provide performance feedback for project teams and managers, and support business development activities (RFPs and RFIs) and governance activities as required. The role also includes performing other tasks as assigned by Sr. PM staff.
