About The Position

This role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Lead IT Project Manager, overseeing medium to large-scale IT projects and solutions. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing and stewarding IT Project Management artifacts, managing IT projects using formal SDLC and business analysis methodologies for custom 3-tier web applications, and proprietary or customized out-of-the-box systems. Experience managing ACCIS projects is highly preferred. The role also involves knowledge of government IT systems, particularly legacy systems, and presenting and communicating with executive-level management. The Project Manager will manage all aspects of a project, including providing guidance, overseeing financial management, and ensuring tasks are completed with minimal guidance. Proficiency in reviewing project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards is essential. The ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical resources, take strategic direction, and participate in strategic planning activities is crucial. The role demands the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines, strong knowledge of server and application architectures, and the capacity to work in cross-functional teams to provide optimal solutions. A strong customer and quality focus, sound problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills are required, along with outstanding collaboration and team-building skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, presentation, and facilitation skills are also necessary.
