About The Position

The Norfolk Companies is seeking a Project Manager for its growing Multifamily division. This role is crucial for ensuring projects are completed on schedule, problems are resolved proactively, and client satisfaction is maintained. The Project Manager will own projects end-to-end, from initial field measurements to the final walkthrough, acting as a trusted point of contact for contractors and account managers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience in multifamily, residential construction, cabinetry, millwork, countertops, remodeling, or a closely related field.
  • Ability to accurately field measure and translate measurements into adjusted shop drawings.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfort managing schedules, budgets, and vendor relationships with minimal supervision.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Calendar).
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods during site visits and field measurements.
  • Ability to carry and load product as needed (up to 40 lbs).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supplying building materials through a distribution channel.
  • Prior hands-on experience with cabinetry products.
  • Familiarity with Buildertrend, Procore, Bluebeam, or 20/20 design software.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Own the project from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring cabinetry and countertop delivery stays on schedule across multiple developments.
  • Serve as the field expert by taking accurate measurements, adjusting shop drawings, and identifying discrepancies to prevent delays or rework.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the job site, customer, contractors, and internal departments.
  • Manage procurement timelines, requisitions, payments, lien releases, and cash flow to protect the schedule and budget.
  • Resolve field issues, punch list items, freight claims, and billing disputes in real time without stalling the job.
  • Manage subcontractor closeout, deliver manuals, warranties, and as-builts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, contractors, and the internal team.
