About The Position

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking a PCB Project Manager to join our U.S. team. This role owns the monitoring and coordination of PCB New Product Introduction (NPI) and Mass Production (MP) projects, ensuring clear communication between internal Operations and Asia-based teams, and driving timely follow-through so that project requirements are properly supported. The ideal candidate takes ownership of project visibility, issue tracking, and cross-regional alignment while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 2-4 years experience in project management or procurement within the electronics, PCB design, PCB fabrication, or PCBA manufacturing industry.
  • Basic understanding of PCB development lifecycle, including basic knowledge of design, fabrication processes, assembly (SMT/PCBA), and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
  • Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor negotiations, particularly with suppliers in Asia.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in ERP applications and Microsoft Office tools such as SAP, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Mandarin speaking is a plus.
  • Hands-on knowledge of high-speed digital, RF, mixed-signal, or high-layer-count PCB design considerations, Signal Integrity (SI)/Power Integrity (PI), and related trade-offs is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the progress of PCB New Product Introduction (NPI) and Mass Production (MP) projects, tracking key milestones, schedules, and deliverables to ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate project status trackers, schedules, and action logs; proactively identify risks, delays, or gaps and drive appropriate follow-up or escalation.
  • Partner with the internal Operations team to clarify requirements and ensure they are clearly documented and communicated to supporting teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with Asia-based teams for project requirements; own the communication loop to confirm understanding and drive timely support and responses.
  • Facilitate effective cross-regional collaboration, ensuring information flows accurately between U.S. relevant stakeholders and Asia-based team and that open items are actively managed to closure.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise status updates, progress reports, and issue summaries to stakeholders; take ownership of keeping leadership informed of project health.
  • Drive resolution of coordination issues and support gaps by following up with responsible parties, tracking actions, and escalating when necessary.
  • Provide feedback on process or communication gaps observed during project execution and support continuous improvement efforts.
