About The Position

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction projects across the Dallas–Fort Worth market. This role is ideal for a Heavy Civil Project Manager Dallas TX with experience managing underground utilities, roadway construction, and site development projects. This Civil Construction Project Manager DFW position is responsible for full lifecycle execution, from pre-construction through completion, ensuring alignment across field operations, subcontractors, and stakeholders. You will oversee projects in the $20M range, spanning underground utilities, roadway construction, and site development, with direct ownership of performance, delivery, and project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Heavy Civil Project Manager or Civil Construction Project Manager
  • Strong background in underground utilities, paving, and sitework
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-accountability environments

Nice To Haves

  • TxDOT or municipal experience as a Project Manager in Dallas TX
  • Experience with developers and private sector sitework
  • Trenchless installation methods (HDD, tunneling)
  • Experience managing multiple projects or high-volume workloads

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution as a Heavy Civil Project Manager across DFW
  • Manage underground utilities (water, sewer, storm drainage); trenchless experience is a plus
  • Oversee road construction and paving as a Road Construction Project Manager Dallas
  • Lead site development and infrastructure scopes across multiple projects
  • Develop and control project budgets, schedules, and contracts
  • Coordinate with developers, municipalities, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Direct superintendents, field teams, and subcontractors to maintain production and schedule
  • Monitor project progress, conduct site visits, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, TxDOT, and municipal standards
  • Manage RFIs, submittments, change orders, and reporting
  • Utilize Primavera P6, CMiC, or similar systems as a Construction Project Manager
