About The Position

Karsh Hagan Madden (KHM) is an independent marketing agency formed through the merger of Karsh Hagan and Madden Media. KHM blends bold storytelling with precision media, PR, geospatial targeting, and observation-led strategy. This role is a hybrid adventure, requiring at least two days a week in the Denver office. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive problem-solver who enjoys bringing order to moving pieces and keeping projects on track. They are comfortable balancing the details of day-to-day project management while still seeing the bigger picture. Clear communication, calmness under shifting priorities, and a willingness to ask questions and flag concerns are essential. The role involves working closely with Project Management, Account Service, Creative, Media, and Production teams to ensure information flows, timelines move, resources are aligned, and deliverables are on track. The Project Manager will become deeply familiar with projects, understanding how timing, staffing, scope, and budget impact overall success. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges, connecting dots across teams, and finding efficient ways to deliver great work.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of project management experience within an advertising agency, marketing operations, or print/digital asset production environment.
  • A foundational understanding of print and digital asset production processes and technical specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration platforms such as Monday.com, Asana, Workamajig, Slack, and Google Workspace.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in both in-person and remote environments.
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • The ability to self-manage, exercise good judgment, and recognize when to escalate concerns or ask for support.
  • A curious, adaptable mindset with a desire to continuously learn, ask questions, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with analytics or business intelligence tools, such as Google Analytics or Salesforce Reporting, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from kickoff through final delivery, maintaining a clear understanding of scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and overall project health.
  • Create and maintain project plans, timelines, requirements, trackers, presentations, standard operating procedures, and other internal and client-facing materials.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time project information within our project management system and use that information to help inform staffing, resource allocation, and timeline adjustments.
  • Coordinate project kickoffs, internal creative reviews, client presentations, and other key internal and external meetings while keeping communication flowing across teams.
  • Partner with Production and Media teams to manage specifications, deadlines, routing, trafficking, and delivery of final creative assets and materials.
  • Anticipate roadblocks and dependencies, proactively solving challenges before they impact timelines, deliverables, staffing, budgets, or overall account success.
  • Help solve operational and project challenges across departments with a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Stay current on project management practices, tools, technologies, and industry trends and recommend opportunities to improve agency processes and efficiencies.
