About The Position

Everon is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the project administration of all current and/or future installations of Fire and/or Security, CCTV, Card Access & other specialty systems. This role involves coordinating administration with the respective management team, ensuring proper documentation between contracts administration and sales representatives, and supervising the execution of project site visits, communications, and closeout requirements. The Project Manager will also oversee safety programs, execute manpower backlog reports, implement change orders for profit enhancement, and participate in project review meetings. Additionally, this role assists with construction schedules to ensure timely installation and testing, updates the project log, and provides in-house estimating and proposals for customers.

Requirements

  • Industry, security/fire and project management experience.
  • Technically inclined.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, dependable to work under little or no supervision.
  • Demonstrate job stability and eagerness to learn.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project (or similar), Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to handle all of the general physical activity that comes from working in the constructions field i.e. lifting and carrying up to 50lbs to move equipment and tools with considerable bending, stooping, and kneeling.
  • Excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressure.
  • Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to read and interpret applicable documents, materials, policies, procedures, etc. as presented in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Past experience in construction field.
  • Knowledgeable in the fire alarm/security industry.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of Local and National Regulation No. 4.
  • Fire alarm systems and inspections experience.
  • Certifications in EST3, NICET, PMP, State Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Project administration of installations of Fire and/or Security, CCTV, Card Access & other specialty systems.
  • Coordinate project administration with the respective management team.
  • Oversee proper documentation between contracts administrator and sales representative to consummate engineering requirements.
  • Supervise the requirement for proper documentation of project site visits, telephone communications, request for information, letter of transmittals, permits and applications fees and final closeout requirements.
  • Oversee the required safety programs are being implemented.
  • Execute manpower backlog reports on a monthly basis.
  • Implement required change orders on projects.
  • Participate in meetings with contracts administration, field supervision and engineering departments to review all on-going projects.
  • Assist with the construction schedule requirements to properly complete installation and final certification testing.
  • Update project log as new projects are contracted.
  • Provide in-house estimating and proposals as needed for existing customers and new projects.
