About The Position

Unison, a leading provider of procurement solutions to the federal marketplace, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery and ongoing operations of Unison's software solutions within a highly secure federal environment. Unison consultants work directly with clients to understand business objectives, improve acquisition and grants management processes, and successfully implement and operate Unison's suite of software products. Our Project Managers are trusted leaders who drive successful outcomes, build strong client relationships, and ensure delivery excellence across complex federal programs. Unison is seeking a Project Manager to lead the operations, maintenance, and ongoing modernization of PRISM, Unison's flagship Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Acquisition and Grants Management solution used by Federal agencies across the U.S. Government. This role will serve as the primary delivery lead for a Federal client, overseeing project execution, client engagement, resource management, and delivery performance throughout implementation and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phases. The successful candidate will work closely with government stakeholders, technical teams, business process consultants, and executive leadership to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Project Management experience leading enterprise software, ERP, business systems, or federal technology implementations
  • Experience managing client relationships and facilitating executive-level communications
  • Experience developing and managing detailed project schedules, project plans, risks, issues, and action items
  • Experience supporting federal government programs, contracts, or technology initiatives
  • Federal acquisition and procurement lifecycle concepts
  • Business process analysis and process improvement
  • Requirements management and traceability
  • Microsoft Project and project scheduling methodologies
  • Change management and stakeholder engagement
  • System integration and deployment planning
  • Testing coordination and user acceptance testing
  • Quality assurance and deliverable management

Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful ongoing operation of Unison's PRISM acquisition and grants management solution within a highly secure federal environment
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government leadership, program stakeholders, and project teams
  • Develop, manage, and maintain integrated project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities using Microsoft Project
  • Lead project planning, execution, risk management, issue resolution, and change control activities
  • Manage cross-functional teams including business analysts, functional consultants, developers, testers, trainers, and support personnel
  • Ensure project deliverables meet contractual requirements, quality standards, and client expectations
  • Facilitate executive-level status meetings, governance reviews, and stakeholder briefings
  • Monitor project performance, resource utilization, budgets, and key delivery metrics
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts to cost, schedule, and performance
  • Coordinate implementation activities including requirements validation, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and transition to operations
  • Support contract execution and compliance with federal acquisition, security, and program management requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote PMO standards, tools, and best practices
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships while representing Unison with professionalism and integrity
