About The Position

SKF is seeking a Project Manager for its Manual Lubrication Systems (MLS) team, part of the Lubrication Lifetime Solutions Business Unit. MLS delivers tools, equipment, and fluid-handling solutions for industrial machinery and vehicles across a range of applications and end markets. The Project Manager will strengthen how MLS plans, manages, and delivers projects by working across functions and locations to develop clear plans, coordinate execution, manage risks, and align stakeholders.

The role leads projects from initiation through delivery, including product-related projects, process improvements, and development activities. It translates business priorities into project plans with defined scope, milestones, owners, and timelines; establishes and improves practical project-management practices for MLS; coordinates cross-functional teams; facilitates meetings and decisions; and tracks progress, risks, and issues.

The position is preferably based in Saint Louis, Missouri, although other SKF locations may be considered depending on the candidate’s profile. The Project Manager reports to the MLS Business Line Manager. SKF describes itself as a global industrial business committed to sustainability and a culture of belonging.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Solid project-management experience in an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or product-development environment.
• Ability to create structure, define priorities, and move work forward in a changing environment.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and follow-up skills.
• Practical, hands-on approach and confidence driving progress in a global matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation to delivery, including product-related projects, process improvements, and development activities.
• Translate business priorities into clear project plans defining scope, milestones, owners, and timelines.
• Establish and improve practical project-management ways of working for MLS.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, product management, operations, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings, follow up on actions, and support timely decisions.
• Track project progress, manage risks and issues, and escalate when support or decisions are needed.
