About The Position

CPM Builders is a leading commercial general contractor specializing in luxury retail flagship stores and commercial interior construction throughout Florida and the Eastern United States. We are looking for a driven and experienced Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of successfully delivering commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, financial performance, and execution of multiple commercial construction projects. Working closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, clients, and design professionals, you will ensure every project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the high standards that define CPM Builders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing luxury retail, commercial interiors, hospitality, or tenant improvement projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction, including means and methods, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required.
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and change order management.
  • Ability to analyze construction documents and identify potential project risks before they impact schedule or budget.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and cost forecasts.
  • Coordinate project activities with Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve scheduling, budget, and field challenges.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and submittments to ensure successful execution.
  • Lead project meetings and communicate project status to clients and company leadership.
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost reporting, and financial performance.
  • Review subcontractor contracts, change orders, purchase orders, invoices, and pay applications.
  • Identify financial risks and implement solutions to maintain project profitability.
  • Monitor project costs and support successful project closeout.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, landlords, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure seamless coordination between office and field operations.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and solution-oriented project environment.
  • Represent CPM Builders with professionalism and integrity throughout every phase of construction.
