The Project Manager is responsible for driving projects to completion by coordinating cross-functional activities and ensuring that all departments are accountable for deliverables while meeting delivery deadlines for development projects and manufacturing campaigns across all service levels for Aldevron clients.

Requirements

  • B.S. or B.A. required, life sciences degree highly preferred.
  • Prefer 3+ years of experience in project management.
  • Experience managing client-facing projects required
  • Experience in a regulated biotechnology or pharmaceutical field or CDMO strongly preferred
  • Understanding of GMP product manufacturing from initiation through release capabilities preferred.
  • This role could require travel of 10%+

Responsibilities

  • Act as a critical point of contact for clients by leading project team meetings, ensuring follow-up of actions items, and escalating issues when required.
  • Use critical thinking to proactively identify project barriers, generate solutions to problems and/or escalate issues internally and externally as required.
  • Maintain project documentation including project plan timelines, status reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Effectively communicate and interact with internal and external teams providing project updates, changes in project scope, timing, or requirements while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Identify opportunities for, contribute to, and lead training and/or process improvement initiatives.
