About The Position

Provide project management support, focusing on meeting project commitments and communications with stakeholders. Lead in the planning, implementation and introduction of projects. Responsible for the overall direction, execution control and completion of projects ensuring consistency with Cooperative strategy and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Project Management or equivalent
  • Minimum of seven years of industry related experience
  • Ability to achieve Cooperative project management objectives, implementing action plans, productivity, quality and resolving problems, identifying trends, determining improvements and implementing changes.
  • Thorough knowledge of project management and related processes, ability to integrate and manage these processes within our SharePoint enterprise system.
  • Ability to convey goals and objectives clearly, listens effectively and clarifies information as needed.
  • Proficient computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheet, databases, etc.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in database management.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership and effective communication when collaborating directly with project managers.
  • Proficient in business English, communication, and composition of correspondence.
  • Demonstrated ability to compose documents accurately.
  • Ability to lead, coordinate, train, and assist functional areas with project management.
  • Any equivalent combination of relation education, training, and/or experience can be substituted for requirements listed above.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and/or implementation of projects.
  • Facilitate the definition of project mission, goals, tasks, and resources requirements.
  • Manage, store, preserve, and deliver information and documents related to the project and project processes.
  • Consult and provide advice and facilitate discussion on projects.
  • Convey goals and objectives clearly, listen effectively and clarify.
  • Assist staff with project management and processing documents.
  • Promote uniformity and consistency in project management.
  • Assist in resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas, develop methods to monitor project or area progress.
  • Provide documentation and training for information management processes or tasks to various functional areas.
  • Present oral and written reports defining plans to appropriate levels of management.
  • Generate necessary reports and updates.
  • Manage project budget with resource allocation.
