Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) is a must
  • Ideally 5+ years project management or relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing and manufacturing engineering required.
  • Skill in analytical thinking and problem solving.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel (<25%).

Nice To Haves

  • Having a Certified Professional Project Manager (CPPM) or Professional Project Manager (PMP) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive, PMO, functional, and facility leadership to understand and prioritize business goals.
  • Assist in developing project proposals that strictly align with schedule, funding, and staffing requirements.
  • Lead large-scale central initiatives, directing infrastructure expansion, product transfers, and capital equipment projects, ensuring flawless alignment with business objectives.
  • Work with functional leaders to develop detailed work plans and staffing needs, and arrange recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
  • Build and manage project timelines by determining the sequence of activities, durations, resource availability, and schedule constraints.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring strict adherence to company policies.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks.
  • Bring up known issues to leadership for corrective action when appropriate.
  • Communicate project status and updates to project team, collaborators, and leadership through effective, recurring communication.
  • Coordinate and lead effective cross-functional team meetings and ensure project team accountability.
  • Provide work direction to project teams.
  • Mentor and train others in methodologies, standards, and business tools.
  • Collaborate with the PMO and other departments to continuously improve project management processes, tools, and templates.
