About The Position

Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Project Manager/Project Lead to join our Power Delivery practice in Fort Mill, SC! The successful candidate will assist the practice specializing in Power Delivery (transmission, substation, and/or power studies) engineering services. This individual will have an entrepreneurial spirit and create a vision for growth for a Power Delivery practice. Coordinate or direct development, energy assessment, engineering, or construction activities to ensure that project needs and objectives are met. Leadership responsibilities include: Operating with integrity and sound business principals, Providing vision, business planning and strategy, Establishing goals, Building and maintaining positive client relationships, Having open communication with your partners and team, Growing and leading a Power Delivery practice. Our Project Managers manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor. Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience with power delivery, transmission line, or related projects
• Bachelors Degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• Familiar with the relevant standards, regulations, and best practices for power delivery projects
• Strong technical skills in RISA 3D, PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, Civil3D, Excel, and/or GIS
• Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
• Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
• Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
• Demonstrated ability to manage Power Delivery projects profitably
