About The Position

The Project Manager oversees ARPA-H projects at Georgetown University Medical Center (GUMC). The Project Manager is the administrative lead for SEEDS (Sequence-to-disease, Environment-aware Ensembles of Disordered proteins at Scale), a multi-institution consortium funded by the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) under an Other Transaction Agreement and co-led by Georgetown University and the Buck Institute for Research on Aging. Reporting directly to the Lead Principal Investigator, the incumbent runs the business of the program: coordinating a consortium of academic, clinical, and industry performers; gathering and assembling reports and deliverables from across the team; tracking budgets and milestone-based payments; building business models and making fast decisions on operational and administrative matters. The Project Manager is also a strategic partner to the Lead PI, helping set priorities and plans, anticipating risks and opportunities across the consortium, and driving the execution of project strategy. ARPA-H programs move at a fast, milestone-driven cadence, and this position calls for someone who is highly organized, nimble, and able to keep many parallel workstreams moving on tight timelines.
