About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to join our Central Production team. The ideal candidate will be adept at transforming complex priorities into clear plans and successfully completed work. This role requires strong follow-through, sound judgment, and excellent communication skills. You will anticipate needs, build trusted relationships across departments, and take ownership of details to facilitate project progression. A fast learner with a desire to understand audio, video, and lighting (AVL) systems and integration processes is essential. The role also demands integrity and discretion when handling financial and sensitive information.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders, budgets, deadlines, and dependencies in construction, systems integration, technical operations, creative production, or a comparable environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, receive training, and become comfortable with unfamiliar technical concepts and processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience coordinating work across teams or departments.
  • Experience with budget tracking, purchasing, financial processing, and organized documentation.
  • Strong administrative coordination and digital project management skills.
  • Ability to represent and uphold Lakepointe's beliefs and leadership behaviors.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AVL systems, installations, or integration projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage AVL projects under the direction of the Central Production Pastor, supporting Central Production staff through initial ideas, planning, quotes, bidding, installation, and completion.
  • Coordinate AVL installations, campus launches, and system upgrades with consultants, integrators, construction teams, IT, and campus leaders.
  • Build and maintain project schedules that account for design, bidding, equipment delivery, construction readiness, and installation; coordinate testing and team training before systems are put into use.
  • Coordinate proposal and design reviews with the Central Production Pastor and the Central Production team’s technical specialists; track scope changes, costs, and schedule impacts, securing required approvals before work proceeds.
  • Monitor progress, anticipate obstacles, and drive follow-through with responsible parties to resolve outstanding items and prepare systems for campus use.
  • Follow up with integrators, contractors, and manufacturers on issues with installed systems, including warranty claims and repairs, keeping Central Production staff informed through resolution.
  • Support Central Production staff by organizing priorities, tracking active projects, and bringing forward decisions, risks, and next steps under the direction of the Central Production Pastor.
  • Manage calendar and meeting coordination, anticipating scheduling needs and protecting time for key priorities.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and materials, capture decisions and action items, and follow up on behalf of Central Production staff to keep commitments moving toward completion.
  • Coordinate travel, training, events, onboarding logistics, and other administrative needs for the Central Production staff.
  • Work closely with other Creative project managers to align timelines, coordinate shared resources, and manage projects that involve multiple departments.
  • Attend project manager and interdepartmental meetings as the Central Production representative, communicating department priorities, needs, and project updates.
  • Maintain clear internal communication, ensuring decisions, responsibilities, dependencies, and next steps are shared with the appropriate teams.
  • Track project and departmental budgets, committed costs, and remaining balances; provide timely updates to support planning and decisions.
  • Coordinate purchasing, equipment orders, invoices, and contractor payment processing with vendors, campus teams, and Finance.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure purchases, payments, and project changes follow approved budgets and authorization processes.
  • Maintain current project plans and workflows on Monday.com or the team’s designated platform, with clear owners, deadlines, and next steps.
  • Organize and maintain project records, including quotes, signed proposals, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, scopes of work, drawings, change orders, warranties, and final system documentation.
  • Create and maintain practical workflows, checklists, and playbooks that strengthen consistency and equip campus teams to support completed installations.
