About The Position

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager with a strong MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) background to support facility-related capital projects, including HVAC systems, major equipment, and roof replacements. This role is more aligned with infrastructure and facilities projects rather than tenant office buildouts. The Project Manager will oversee projects from initiation through closeout, managing scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder communication. This is a hands-on role where the PM will independently run projects without dedicated project coordinator support. You will partner with a sr. PM for onboarding and development while managing multiple projects across nearby campus locations.

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of HANDS ON construction project management experience (not just coordination or accounting.. not electrical-only, cabling, or security-focused))
  • Experience managing projects from start to finish independently
  • Experience in MEP systems or facilities-based construction (HVAC, mechanical systems, infrastructure, etc.)
  • Experience with project budgeting, estimating, and cost tracking
  • Strong communication skills (verbal + written) and ability to lead project calls
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Willingness to work primarily onsite (3–4 days/week)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field
  • Experience in commercial real estate or owner’s rep environment
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings and space planning
  • Exposure to vendor management and compliance processes
  • Experience supporting process improvement initiatives
  • Bckgrnd in facilities or infrastructure projects preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects end-to-end (scope, budget, schedule, execution, and closeout)
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets; track financials and timelines
  • Lead weekly project meetings and provide status updates on schedule, budget, and risk
  • Coordinate RFPs, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Oversee general contractors and ensure project milestones are met
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and leadership
  • Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with project processes
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various phases
