The Project Manager III role is responsible for managing and coordinating the progress of orders from review through completion, liaising with internal departments and customers. This role involves managing projects of varied complexities, ensuring clear communication of job-specific requirements through status reports and meetings, and representing the company professionally. This is a REMOTE position.

Requirements

  • Complete knowledge of project orders.
  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Required experience with building facades, and exterior design and construction experience.
  • Five to ten years of proven and demonstrable success, experience, and expertise in a role of similar capacity.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
  • Knowledge of Construction and fabrication methods/processes.
  • Knowledge of BPCS, Windows Office programs.
  • Understands AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam.
  • Detail-Oriented.
  • Able to multi-task and handle several projects at one time.
  • Experience with reviewing architectural and structural drawings.
  • Ability to read rough or detailed sketches, designs, specifications and/or notes, analyze, and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
  • Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
  • Knowledge of how to manage and work with contractors.
  • Computer literacy, specifically in Excel spreadsheets.
  • 25% travel requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the progress of orders from review through completion.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings (production, drafting, kickoff, project review, customer/conference calls).
  • Maintain project review list.
  • Coordinate between internal departments and customers regarding shop drawings, order changes, and other project-related topics.
  • Review and understand internal department questions, concerns, and RFIs, responding in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with internal departments regarding project statuses.
  • Review drawings against contract, Letter of Intent, Quote, or clear Sales direction.
  • Understand products, fabrication processes, building construction, and contract documents.
  • Follow up on jobs out for approval, in drafting, or released.
  • Troubleshoot details, materials, or field conflicts.
  • Maintain high levels of customer and project team communication to ensure alignment on project status.
  • Update ERP system order notes.
  • Maintain electronic and physical files/folders.
  • Implement and deliver solution-driven strategies.
  • Work closely with production and purchasing for proactive material and deadline management.
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks to Project Manager I and II as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.
