About The Position

The Project Manager will manage a portfolio of customer projects and be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of internal team members, vendors, and third-party contractors to successfully deliver projects from start to finish. In this role, you will have an autonomous work environment where you can manage your own project portfolio, build relationships with customers and contractors, and help bring new construction, remodel, and maintenance projects to completion for some of the nation's leading retailers, restaurants, banks, hospitality groups, and other national accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
  • Three (3) or more years of direct project management experience, including all aspects of project planning, coordination, execution, and customer communication.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining exceptional customer service.
  • Experience managing project risk related to installations, specifications, inventory, billing, and collections.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Understanding of and commitment to Regency Supply's R.I.S.E. culture and values.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Lighting industry experience or experience managing materials-based projects (electrical, construction, building materials, industrial supply, HVAC, plumbing, or similar industries) is preferred.
  • Experience using the Prophet 21 (P21) ERP system is strongly preferred.
  • Blueprint reading experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer projects from order through completion.
  • Coordinate project schedules, materials, vendors, contractors, and internal resources to ensure successful execution.
  • Monitor project timelines and proactively communicate updates, delays, and solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Review project specifications and construction documents to ensure accurate product selection and execution.
  • Identify and resolve project-related issues while minimizing risk.
  • Effectively manage installation, specification, inventory, billing, and collections risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct research on project-related products, materials, and solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, manufacturers, and internal departments.
  • Consistently identify opportunities to provide value-added services, product alternatives, and cost-saving recommendations.
  • Provide administrative support to Account Managers, including: Product guide creation, NAED project support, Quote and order entry, RMA processing, Other project-related administrative functions.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation within company systems.
  • Ensure projects meet Regency Supply's quality standards and customer expectations.
