About The Position

The Project Manager, based in Vancouver BC Canada, will support the project management team in overseeing the deployment of PhotonAssay™ systems around the world. This role requires experience in logistics, installation and commissioning, time management and delivery of complex technology into an operating environment.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary qualification in project management, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in project coordination, project management, or a similar delivery-focused role.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Canada and internationally, including to remote project locations and mine sites, subject to applicable travel and site-access requirements.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and project requirements.
  • Flexible, hands-on approach with a willingness to support a broad range of tasks, including work outside the traditional scope of the role when required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the mining sector, mine-site operations, civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction-related projects.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience working in diverse, fast-paced, or remote project environments.
  • Familiarity with additional productivity and collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Project.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software, including AutoCAD.
  • Experience using project management platforms such as Microsoft Planner, Monday.com, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from initiation to handover.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and timelines relating to the deployment of PhotonAssay™ systems.
  • Arrange and lead meetings and take notes.
  • Support process improvement initiatives.
  • Responsibility and accountability for managing the installation and commissioning process, including identification of installation sites, oversight of installation requirements, and local authorities licencing and accreditation requirements.
  • Responsibility for product commissioning, including liaison with customers and their sub-contractors, schedule planning, and coordination of on-site and remote technical teams.
  • Frequent travel to deployment sites, primarily within the APAC region with additional travel to other regions as project demand requires, to perform site surveys and support deployment activities.
  • Support and manage installation and commissioning activities onsite and remotely across different time zones.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of systems/ processes to improve the way in which we manage deployment.
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to peers where appropriate.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Support the ongoing development of a strong OH&S culture.
  • Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
