The Project Manager coordinates engineering, drafting, production, and subcontractor activities to satisfy Metromont’s contractual scope of work. Manages project budgets and Metromont’s relationship with the customer during construction and close out. This position has direct responsibility for organizing the turnover meeting for each project assigned, developing and maintaining Metromont’s internal project schedule, and coordinating the activities of Metromont’s project team to assure that Metromont’s schedule meets the overall project schedule. The role also involves reviewing submittal drawings for constructability issues and compliance with Metromont standards, reviewing contracts, coordinating with the erector, managing project submittals, managing project scope versus contract requirements and Metromont’s project estimate, coordination and management of change orders, facilitating problem resolution, coordinating information and correspondence, assuring understanding among project team members, maintaining project documentation, attending job site and design coordination meetings, developing the project’s schedule of values, managing Metromont’s billing process and outstanding accounts receivable, coordinating project close out documentation and billing of final retainage, assuring timely selection of subcontractors, assuring subcontractor adherence to safety programs, providing feedback on product quality and customer experience, conducting weekly site visits, documenting progression of work/issues with photos, providing weekly updates on erection tracking, monitoring project budgets, providing supervision and oversight to Metromont’s Field Superintendent, managing the sample approval process, and owning and monitoring project punch list completion. The Project Manager must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
