The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) promotes quality and affordability in the city's housing, and diversity and strength in the city’s neighborhoods because every New Yorker deserves a safe, affordable place to live in a neighborhood they love. The Office of Development leads the implementation of the Mayor’s Housing Plan to create or preserve 300,000 units of affordable housing by 2026. This is performed in close collaboration with HPD colleagues, other City and state agencies, and the New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC). As Project Manager for Inclusionary Housing Programs, Universal Affordability Program (UAP), you will help address the city’s affordable housing crisis by implementing the City of Yes for Housing Opportunity, much of which will be in mixed-income developments promoting economic integration and access to neighborhoods with job opportunities and transit.
