About The Position

RS&H is currently seeking a project manager to join our Federal team. This position will work a hybrid approach and serve an integral role in the firm by providing assistance and support across multiple projects and managing the team to ensure the project conforms to the client's requirements. The role involves supporting client needs and expectations, establishing and communicating project requirements, and ensuring the team delivers a final product that meets these requirements. Key responsibilities include assisting in the development of a detailed scope of work, budget, and schedule; providing ongoing communication to the project team to ensure objectives are clear; directing the project team through all phases of the project to achieve desired results within budget and schedule; identifying the need for contract amendments; and serving as the liaison with the project team throughout the project duration. This position may also serve as a point of contact for the client on small, low-risk projects. The company has partnered with the Department of Defense for over 70 years on facilities and infrastructure projects. RS&H is an employee-owned firm and a leading architecture, engineering, and consulting firm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited program.
  • 7 years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid knowledge of project management duties.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to follow through, and ability to work independently following general direction and oversight from leadership.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, set priorities, and manage multiple projects and assignments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to and understand people in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Demonstrate professional courage.
  • Ability to guide and influence others.
  • U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (due to federal contract requirements).

Nice To Haves

  • Federal project design experience
  • Professional Engineer, Registered Architect or Interior Designer, and/or Licensed General Contractor
  • LEED Accredited Professional
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
  • Recognized experience in leadership of professional associations (AIA, SAME, etc)
  • Visualization and graphics capabilities (Photoshop or others)
