About The Position

BELFOR is a global leader in property restoration, helping families and businesses recover from fire, water, storm, and other disaster-related damage. As a Project Manager at BELFOR, you will lead emergency and restoration projects from start to finish, driving revenue while ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will assess sites, prepare estimates, and act as the main point of contact for clients, adjusters, and consultants. Representing BELFOR with professionalism, you will build strong relationships and deliver successful project outcomes that restore homes, businesses, and communities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of project management experience in construction, restoration, or insurance.
  • Proficiency with Xactimate/XactAnalysis.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and hazardous materials.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract (must meet BELFOR Auto Policy requirements).

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education in Construction, Business, or Project Management.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with Encircle and DocuSketch.

Responsibilities

  • Manage restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Assess damage, prepare accurate estimates, floor plans, and documentation using Xactimate and other platforms.
  • Secure work authorizations, deposits, permits, and inspections to support smooth project delivery.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, insurers, subcontractors, and consultants, providing updates, technical explanations, and strong customer service.
  • Lead site meetings, coordinate field staff and subcontractors, and maintain organized, hazard-free job sites.
  • Oversee project finances, including billing, collections, and compliance with insurance and legislative standards.
  • Support business development through client engagement and industry events.
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies to ensure timely service.
  • Mentor and provide feedback to team members to drive project success.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
