Project Manager - Wealth/Asset Management - Data Modernization
About The Position
Lead and manage data modernization projects within wealth and asset management sectors, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with data teams, technology partners, and business stakeholders to define project scope, schedules, and deliverables. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, tracking progress, risks, and mitigation strategies. Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams and provide regular updates to senior management and clients. Ensure quality control and validation of data migration and modernization activities. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project outcomes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- 7+ years of project management experience, preferably within wealth or asset management data modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of data management concepts, modernization strategies, and related technologies.
- Experience working with data migration, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging senior executives and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Business, or related field
Nice To Haves
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Advanced degree is a plus.
