About The Position

As a Program/Project Manager at Parsons, you will join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical requirements for the Department of War and United States Army. Become part of a diverse group of 500 professionals delivering expertise in program management, systems integration, and technology fielding across Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, for a portfolio of efforts spanning 5 years and a total value exceeding $600 million. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with proven experience in managing complex, multi-year programs and projects, driving interoperability, compliance, and innovation to advance Army modernization and support to the warfighter.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any technical or managerial discipline.
  • 5–15+ years of professional experience in program/project management.
  • TS/SCI is required
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing large, multi-year programs or projects.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a dynamic environment.
  • An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DoD standards, compliance, and modular open systems approaches is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall planning, direction, and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and technology initiatives.
  • Define, organize, and direct short- and long-range plans, including technical approaches, resource allocation, and milestone establishment.
  • Oversee the execution of integration projects, ensuring compliance with DoD standards and data requirements.
  • Track and report on program/project progress, including schedules, budgets, costs, and technology fielding.
  • Coordinate outreach and partner engagements to promote adoption of common standards and modular open systems approaches (MOSA, ISA).
  • Support the development of program schedules, briefs, and reports to communicate interoperability progress and cost reductions.
  • Guide and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives and deliver interoperable capabilities.
  • Foster collaboration across multiple stakeholders and ensure alignment with organizational and agency goals.
