About The Position

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a Project Manager (I/II/III) who is detail-oriented, and customer focused to join our Government Services department. You will help assist and lead both development and research-based government contracts from award to completion, working closely with teams of engineers, technicians, and production personnel. This customer-facing role requires the ability to lead multifunctional projects while managing scope, schedule, and budget. Requirements

  • You are a US citizen.
  • You hold a bachelor's degree in a related field or have equivalent experience.
  • You have two years of direct experience coordinating projects.
  • You are detail-oriented and customer-focused.
  • You enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and disciplines.
  • You are interested in growing your career through challenging work.
  • You would like to help make electric power safer, more reliable, and more economical.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting with customers and outlining project details such as cost, timeline, and deliverables.
  • Updating and analyzing schedules and budgets for multifunctional projects.
  • Evaluating resource availability and managing assignments.
  • Ensuring purchase order requirements and customer specifications are being met.
