This role is for a Project Manager with a strong background in project management, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will excel in a team environment, prioritize and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, and support machinery installations from inception to commissioning.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Bachelor’s).
• 5+ years of experience in industrial project management.
• Proven success in managing large, complex projects within budget and delivering outstanding results.
• Organizational and project management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Skilled at managing contractors and consultants.
• Experience in delivering projects on time and within budget.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the wire manufacturing industry.
• Manufacturing engineering experience.
• Extensive knowledge in steel and concrete.
• Project Management certifications.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, building systems, utilities, and repair procedures relating to facilities management.
• Basic knowledge of life safety monitoring and control systems for equipment.
• Experience reviewing specifications and developing mechanical or electrical layouts.
• Strong computing and software skills including AutoCAD & Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage project risks.
• Develop project scope through collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
• Develop and implement project plans.
• Specify relevant company and industry standards for design, installation, and construction.
• Develop requests for quote (RFQ) with all necessary bidding information.
• Identify and facilitate necessary permitting.
• Manage project execution.
• Manage contracted and in-house resources for project completion.
• Prepare project execution procedures, specifications, and documentation.
• Manage EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) at the site and ensure delivery of EHS targets.
• Conduct frequent reviews of site EHS and seek continuous improvement.
• Embed a strong safety culture within the project team, contractors, and workers on site.
• Follow up on projects to ensure proper execution.
• Prepare and implement progress reports.
• Prepare punch lists towards the end of projects.
• Follow up on punch lists to verify project completion and coordination with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for handoff.
