Our client, a large national construction firm is looking to add a Project Manager with experience in Heavy Civil construction to their team in Phoenix, AZ! If you’re a Heavy Civil Project Manager who thrives on complex infrastructure, strong field teams, and real ownership — this is where you want to be. You’ll be accountable for delivering projects safely, on schedule, on budget — and with the level of quality the firm is known for.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- 5-7+ years of heavy civil construction experience
- Leading Projects up to $30 million
- Experience with box culverts, roadway, paving and underground utilities
- Strong forecasting and cost control expertise
- Experience with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and Excel
- Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree
- Leadership mindset and field credibility
Responsibilities
- Full lifecycle management of heavy civil / heavy highway projects ($10M+)
- Financial oversight, forecasting, and cost control
- CPM schedule development and updates (Primavera P6)
- Change order strategy and negotiations
- Leadership of Superintendents & Project Engineers
- Client and stakeholder relationships
- Risk management and project execution strategy
