Intermediate or Senior Project Manager - (Civil Construction)
About The Position
Maple Reinders Constructors is seeking an experienced Intermediate to Senior level Project Manager for their Civil construction division in Ontario. The role will focus on an exciting water/wastewater project in Caledon, Ontario. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing these projects, defining the schedule, ensuring goals are met, and maintaining communication with their team and stakeholders. This is a site-based role requiring daily travel to the assigned project. The company offers opportunities for growth and the chance to take on larger, more challenging projects.
Requirements
- 5 or more years experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry with a general contractor.
- A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Civil Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
- Travel to site required.
Responsibilities
- Developing successful relationships with clients, consultants, architects, sub-contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Effectively managing the project with the skills they have and following Maple Reinders’ process and procedures ensuring each project is delivered with quality and consistency.
- Sharing knowledge by mentoring junior Project Managers and Coordinators, guiding them to progress in their careers.
- Managing Water and Wastewater related projects typically in the value of $20-$50M.
- Defining the schedule and ensuring goals are met.
- Maintaining communication with the team and stakeholders.
