The Walsh Group is seeking a Project Manager for its Building Division in Chicago, Illinois. Project Managers organize and initiate project structure while adapting plans as needed, build lasting relationships, empower responsibility, and remain accountable for profitability and business outcomes. They lead project teams and contribute to a collaborative team culture. Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience.
- Experience managing construction teams.
- Success in client relationships.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead project controls, including costs, planning, scheduling, engineering, supervision, and personnel management.
- Manage project startup, completion, and the full close-out process.
- Develop strategies for personnel development and recruiting.
- Manage contractual issues.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships.
- Accurately forecast costs for job completion.
- Provide leadership and development to the project team.
- Make final decisions on the resolution of problems.
- Develop and oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans.
- Identify issues and escalate them to the Program Manager as needed to ensure project success.
- Review and approve preliminary schedules, financial projections, and cost-to-complete estimates.
- Ensure construction-site rules and procedures are implemented and followed.
- Coordinate with the Safety Manager to ensure projects meet safety goals.
