About The Position

Cargas is hiring a Project Manager to lead customers through successful implementations of our proprietary software, Cargas Energy. As a Project Manager, you'll work directly with customers to manage project timelines, resources, budgets, and expectations throughout the implementation. You'll become a trusted advisor to customers, helping them achieve their goals while working with your teammates to deliver exceptional customer care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of project management experience leading software implementation projects.
• Ability to learn Cargas Energy and related software products.
• Experience managing customer relationships, projects, and deliverables across organizations.
• Knowledge and expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities through successful completion.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working within the energy industry.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ERP implementation projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to successfully implement Cargas Energy, guiding them through change and building trusted relationships.
• Understand customers' business processes, gather requirements, and translate their needs into implementation plans and solutions.
• Lead software implementation projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, resource management, risk mitigation, budgeting, execution, and status reporting.
• Monitor project scope, timelines, budgets, and team performance to ensure successful project delivery.
• Communicate project expectations, risks, progress, and deliverables clearly to customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
• Manage project scope changes, negotiate change orders, and proactively address challenges and escalations.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure information is clear, complete, and up to date.
• Identify opportunities to expand customer value and support our business growth and goals.
