About The Position
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in healthcare to lead and deliver critical projects in a fully remote environment. This role offers the opportunity to manage impactful initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. There is potential for long-term or permanent hire for the right candidate.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of professional project management experience, including at least 2 years leading projects
- Healthcare industry experience required
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
- Experience with project planning, scheduling, and resource management
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders
- Ability to effectively lead meetings and drive project progress
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple detailed projects in a fast-paced environment
- Must reside in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Project Management certification (PMP) and/or Six Sigma certification
- Experience working in cross-functional or remote team environments
- Northeast-based candidates preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
- Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation
- Apply project management methodologies including planning, execution, risk management, and change management
- Coordinate and manage project resources to ensure proper alignment with project goals
- Maintain and share clear, timely project documentation with all stakeholders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication and issue resolution
- Facilitate meetings, provide status updates, and ensure stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify risks and issues proactively and implement mitigation strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changing priorities
