About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and deliver programs of work to defined objectives, budgets, and timelines. The role is accountable for ensuring compliance with budgetary, regulatory, and planning controls, as well as producing timely and accurate data collection, analysis, and reports. The Project Manager will apply significant technical knowledge to interpret and communicate project support policies, processes, and systems, monitor and escalate project management KPIs and performance metrics, highlight process compliance issues to stakeholders, and lead the performance management of project teams and resources to ensure successful delivery according to quality, time, and cost targets.

Requirements

  • Relevant business experience, including management of small-sized projects
  • Practitioner-level expertise in one or more service lines
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise with peers and senior colleagues and build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to negotiate and manage relationships with external stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen and strong organizational understanding
  • Logical approach with the ability to think through complex issues and coordinate multi-faceted aspects of projects
  • Knowledge of own area and a general understanding of wider program and business
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Attainment of, or near attainment of, relevant professional certification or chartered status

Responsibilities

  • Work within established financial systems and clear project objectives to produce detailed plans and schedules, track budgets, and highlight variances to effectively manage and control project delivery targets.
  • Deliver or assist in managing small to medium-scale projects or programs of work, ensuring appropriate use of resources to meet the required scope within set deadlines.
  • Present any project risks or issues to senior managers, ensuring projects are not adversely impacted and are delivered to compliant standards.
  • Analyze and review a range of data to identify key themes and trends, using these insights to produce recommendations that support project decision-making.
  • Review project processes and policies, providing advice to management to support the development and improvement of processes and systems.
  • Deliver timely and accurate data collection, analysis, and reports to ensure projects are delivered to budget, quality, and time metrics.
  • Interact effectively across the organization, completing complex professional tasks to ensure projects and programs meet customer expectations.
  • Advise colleagues on project-related issues, providing subject matter expertise to support delivery and ensure alignment between policy and operational practice.
  • Interpret and communicate project support policies, processes, and systems.
  • Monitor and escalate project management KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and third-party contractors to keep all parties informed and aware of project progress and expectations.
  • Communicate and highlight project process compliance issues to project managers.
  • Lead the performance management of project teams and resources, driving successful project outcomes and continuous improvement.
