About The Position

R.D. Olson Construction is seeking a high-performing Project Manager to lead signature $20M–$40M projects in commercial construction, focusing on hospitality, multifamily, and education sectors. This role offers significant ownership, opportunities for faster growth, and the chance to make a bigger impact. The Project Manager will be responsible for the full lifecycle of projects, from buyout through punch list, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, running site meetings, and driving real-time results. Unlike roles focused on administrative tasks, this position empowers Project Managers to lead, mentor, and deliver projects with autonomy.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of PM or APM experience with a commercial GC
• Degree in Construction Management or related field
• Strong skills in Microsoft Project, Excel, Procore (or similar)
• You own your results — and your team’s

• Experience in hospitality, multifamily, or private education preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of $20M–$40M hospitality, housing, or education projects
• Lead buyouts, precon, scheduling, safety, and field coordination
• Run subcontractor and owner meetings
• Identify value-engineering wins and track profitability
• Mentor PEs and APMs
• Leverage AI and tech to drive smarter, faster decisions
