About The Position

We are looking for a Project Manager with 4–6 years of experience to lead projects focused on improving member experience, retention, and service delivery within the insurance industry. Requirements

  • 4–6 years of project management experience, preferably in a mid-level capacity on the business side.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles, from definition through implementation, with accountability for scope, cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including excellent oral and written communication and the ability to brief leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate disparate teams, including IT and business functions, to achieve shared project outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum, including working with stories, features, and iterative delivery.
  • Experience with risk assessment and risk management, including identification, analysis, mitigation, and communication of risks and issues.
  • Proficiency in Jira for managing workstreams, tracking deliverables, and supporting Agile project execution.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Visio for process mapping.
  • Ability to develop and maintain project plans, manage schedules, and coordinate milestones across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate member experiences and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to bring together parties from different functions and regulatory groups.
  • Experience working with program management and program leadership to align projects with strategic intent and business requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, PMBOK-based, or other recognized project management certification (strongly preferred).
  • Experience working in property and casualty insurance or financial services environments is beneficial.
  • Background in membership experience, retention, or customer journey improvement is an advantage.
  • Experience with program management and coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Familiarity with SDLC practices and working closely with development and digital product teams.
  • Experience using Clarity or similar project and portfolio management tools.
  • Comfort operating in a new or evolving function focused on membership deepening and cross-selling across lines of business.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and investigative mindset, with the ability to “look inside the box” of member experiences and communicate findings clearly.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities when navigating complex business and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from planning through implementation.
  • Create project plans, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Work closely with business, IT, product, and leadership teams.
  • Use Jira to manage tasks, risks, and project progress.
  • Gather and document business requirements.
  • Facilitate meetings and provide regular status updates.
  • Identify and resolve project risks and issues.
  • Support Agile/Scrum delivery and change management efforts.
  • Analyze member experiences and recommend improvements.
