About The Position

This role is a mix of both hands-on (think lifting furniture) and office work. Coordinates services, timelines, budgets, and crews while ensuring high-quality customer service and compliance with agreements. Your primary responsibility is to ensure all services related to assigned relocations or projects are executed in line with the signed move agreement or purchase order. You’ll act as the main point of contact from project inception to completion, maintaining regular communication with customers, project managers, sales staff, contract administrators, and national account personnel. Your role includes planning and managing relocations, monitoring service quality, and ensuring deadlines and expectations are consistently met. You’ll be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, and resources while coordinating daily operations with internal teams such as Dispatch to ensure proper staffing, equipment, and vehicle support. Any additional services requested must be clearly documented and approved through a signed addendum before proceeding. You’ll also track project costs in real time, collaborating closely with billing staff to ensure accuracy and profitability using Hilldrup’s billing systems. A key part of your role involves preparing and coordinating move logistics to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and customer satisfaction. You’ll work directly with blueprints for systems furniture, provide detailed cost estimates, and lead both internal and client meetings to maintain alignment throughout the project. You must also remain in constant contact with the assigned salesperson to flag any issues or potential risks that could impact the project’s success. You will also be walking, lifting, and moving furniture up to ten hours per day. You must be able to lift 50–100 lbs. (up to 400 lbs. with a team) and be able to push 50 – 100 lbs. on 4-wheel dollies and push 300 lb. loaded carts.

Requirements

  • Two to four-year degree in business preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Project Management or related experience

  • Able to lift 50-100 lbs. alone and up to 400 lbs. with a team
  • Able to push 50 – 100 lbs. on 4-wheel dollies and push 300 lb. loaded carts
  • Maintain physical stamina to walk, lift, and carry for 6-10 hours daily
