About The Position

Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Project Manager to work in our Rogers, AR office. This position requires 7+ years of experience. The role involves recognizing and initiating business development opportunities, performing and checking environmental engineering calculations, and developing a client base of municipal clients for water/wastewater utilities in the Northwest Arkansas area. The Project Manager will network with new and existing clients to develop work opportunities, prepare contract proposals and cost estimates, and manage all project elements including budget, schedule, and quality to achieve profitability and client satisfaction. Responsibilities also include overseeing the production of high-quality project documents and participating in the preparation of environmental construction drawings.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • Experience in water, sewer and wastewater design
  • Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of one or more design software packages, including HEC-RAS, XP-SWMM, EPA-SWMM, SewerGems, InfoWater, WaterGems, BioWin, etc.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must complete a background check

  • Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks within a project
