About The Position

The importance of water to the health of our world can’t be overstated. As the frequency and intensity of floods, droughts and storms increases, the water industry must continue to build resiliency and lead from the front. Together with our clients, we are thinking and doing things differently to help pre-empt and prepare for what's next. Be a part of this dynamic and committed team of diverse water specialists and drive change for your community. You’ll be able to apply our powerful global network of skills and decades of experience to create positive water outcomes that respect nature and nurture communities. Our US East Water business is on an exciting growth trajectory, and we’re looking for a dynamic Project Manager to join our team in Chantilly, VA. In this highly impactful role, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams through the planning, design, and construction of critical water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects across the DC Metro Area. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex, high-visibility projects that directly support sustainable communities and resilient infrastructure, while collaborating with talented professionals who are passionate about delivering meaningful results. As a key member of our team, you will drive project success from concept through completion—overseeing planning studies, permitting efforts, detailed design, and construction engineering activities. You’ll take the lead in preparing and reviewing technical deliverables such as reports, specifications, plans, and cost estimates, while ensuring all work meets rigorous state and federal regulatory standards. Your role will also include managing project budgets and schedules, performing design calculations and alternative analyses, and troubleshooting system operations to deliver practical, high-quality solutions for our clients. Beyond project execution, you’ll play a critical role in strengthening client relationships and contributing to business growth. You’ll support proposal development, engage in marketing initiatives, and help identify new opportunities within the DC Metro water and wastewater market. At the same time, you’ll foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment by mentoring junior staff, promoting knowledge sharing, and championing professional development. This position offers the chance to not only shape infrastructure projects, but also influence the continued growth and success of our regional practice. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
