Sammons Warehouse SolutionsCarrollton, TX
Hybrid

About The Position

Sammons Industrial is an employee-owned family of businesses dedicated to becoming the preferred single-source solution for industrial operations. Sammons Warehouse Solutions helps customers build safer, smarter warehouse operations, and we believe the best project leaders stay close to the work. We’re looking for an engaged Project Manager with experience around material handling or warehouse automation who can take ownership, solve problems in the field, and keep projects moving forward. This isn’t a desk-only Project Manager role. You’ll spend significant time where the work is happening—walking jobsites, working alongside installation teams, solving field issues, and making sure what we planned is what gets delivered. You’ll support complex automation projects as well as smaller automation and rack installations, giving you exposure to a wide range of work. You’ll bring the field knowledge to understand what it takes to get the job done and the project discipline to keep scope, schedule, budget, safety, and the customer moving in the right direction.

Requirements

  • Project Management experience in material handling, warehouse systems, construction, automation, or a related environment.
  • The ability to read the jobsite and lead the project, understanding installation realities while managing scope, schedule, budget, and project documentation.
  • A practical, accountable leadership style—you’re comfortable working directly with crews, customers, vendors, and technical teams and stepping in when the situation calls for it.
  • Willingness to spend significant time onsite. This role is based in DFW, with a mix of local project work and air travel.

Responsibilities

  • Own projects from planning through installation and handoff, managing scope, schedules, budgets, materials, change orders, and customer expectations.
  • Be a strong presence in the field, working closely with installers, vendors, and customers to keep jobs safe, productive, and moving forward.
  • Solve problems where they happen, identifying installation challenges early, coordinating the right resources, and helping the team find practical solutions.
  • Support projects of different sizes and complexity, from rack and smaller automation installations to large, sophisticated systems, while flexing across the team as priorities change.

Benefits

  • Competitive Pay and Performance-Based Bonuses
  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
  • 401(k)
  • Training and Tuition Reimbursement
  • Work/Life Balance
  • Paid Holidays and Time Off
  • Health and Wellness Benefits
  • Tool Benefits, PPE/Uniforms, Safety Boot Program
  • Life and Short Term Disability paid for by company
