The role involves managing the execution of outage scope, including budget, schedule, resources, and status updates. It requires strong communication skills for technical information, concepts, and ideas, both verbally and in writing. The position also entails assessing conditions, making calculated decisions under pressure, performing field observations to reinforce standards and identify performance gaps, and conducting pre-outage walkdowns and risk assessments. Ensuring project milestones are met and maintaining a continuous improvement mindset through participation in pre-outage challenge meetings and post-outage critiques are key aspects of this role. The Project Manager will assume responsibility for related duties and special projects as assigned. Availability for extended travel and occasional intensive work schedules is necessary. Adherence to John H. Carter Co., Inc. policies, procedures, and methodologies is required.
