About The Position

Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Transportation Project Manager. This position requires 10+ years of experience. This position is responsible for managing projects, leading project teams and team members, developing engineering solutions, and delivering a thorough and comprehensive end product. Additional responsibilities include interactions with clients, development of relationships, and tracking of potential projects.

Requirements

10+ years of experience
Licensed professional engineer in Illinois
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Products (e. g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience using at least one CADD platform (MicroStation or AutoCAD)
Knowledge of at least one highway design package (e.g. OpenRoads, Geopak, or Civil3D)
Critical thinking and analysis
A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive to and from job sites

Nice To Haves

Experience working directly with the Illinois Department of Transportation and local municipalities
Existing business development relationships

Maintain and develop strong client relationships
Develop business in the Illinois region
Field visits on rough terrain per project needs
