About The Position

Wilson Construction Company is a premier utility contractor specializing in complex electrical transmission and distribution line construction across the United States. We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented Project Manager - Transmission Construction to join our regional office in Corona, California. This is a key leadership role for a motivated self-starter ready to oversee fast-paced utility transmission projects and drive operational excellence.

Based out of our regional office in Corona, CA, you will provide project management leadership across small, medium, and large-scale transmission line construction projects. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and fulfilling all technical requirements while serving as the primary point of contact for project owners, field teams, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of progressive office, field management, or technical services experience in transmission line project management, including experience in mid-level management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience serving as a Lead Transmission Project Manager on utility construction projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Must reside within a reasonable driving distance of our Corona, CA office or be willing to relocate.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel periodically to job sites required.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Primavera (P6) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of utility transmission construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets are achieved.
• Develop, plan, and coordinate all technical and logistical requirements from project kickoff through final closeout.
• Serve as the primary liaison for project communications, representing the company during owner meetings, progress updates, and field activities.
• Partner closely with project engineering, field supervision, procurement, and safety management to streamline daily site operations.
