Stonefield Engineering and Design is currently recruiting a Project Manager to join the Traffic Engineering Team. As Stonefield is a multi-disciplinary firm, interest in cross-disciplinary work within the field of Traffic Engineering, Highway/Roadway Design and Civil Engineering is encouraged.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
Must be a licensed PE
Minimum of 4 years of experience with traffic engineering capabilities
Proficiency in Highway Capacity Software and Synchro/SimTraffic
Ability to work effectively on a team
Strong communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated

Nice To Haves

Knowledge in AutoCAD
Signal design abilities
Field experience
Technical writing
Experience in the private entitlement of zoning and site plan permitting
Familiarity with NJDOT, NYSDOT, PennDOT Design and Permitting

Responsibilities

Teaching and training entry-level to mid-level designers and analysts
Preparation of Traffic Impact and Parking Studies
Intersection Capacity Analyses
Design of Traffic Signal and Roadway Improvement Plans
Preparation of Maintenance and Traffic Control drawings
Creation of Traffic Signal Timing Directives
Development of comprehensive submission and applications to jurisdictional bodies
Project management responsibilities
Zoning and land development permitting
Field inspection
Hydraulic and preparation of project reports
Attend and present before technical and lay bodies at municipal, county, and state meetings
