The general role of the Project Manager – Telecom Installation & Commissioning is to supervise and direct the installation, testing, and commissioning of telecommunications network infrastructure across operational and industrial environments, including outside plant (OSP), inside plant (ISP), and network equipment deployments. This individual manages project tasks, personnel, and requirements in a dedicated, organized, and efficient manner, ensuring work is performed safely within active operational networks, industrial facilities, and critical infrastructure sites. The position must be detail oriented and performance driven to ensure that all project elements are synchronized and successfully completed. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget by designating project resources, monitoring progress, coordinating network commissioning and cutover activities, and maintaining open communication between customers and management. This individual understands each product and supports the improvement of operational efficiency. This position will require a flexible schedule to include extended hours, nights, weekends, and travel with overnight stays as needed. The Project Manager reports to the Department Manager and works primarily out of their assigned location.
