About The Position

Public Partnerships LLC supports individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses and aging adults, to remain in their homes and communities and “self” direct their own long-term home care. Our role as the nation’s largest and most experienced Financial Management Service provider is to assist those eligible Medicaid recipients to choose and pay for their own support workers and services within their state-approved personalized budget. We are appointed by states and managed healthcare organizations to better serve more of their residents and members requiring long-term care and ensure the efficient use of taxpayer funded services. The Project Manager for Technology is responsible for planning, directing, and executing complex technology projects that support PPL’s self-directed care initiatives. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring projects are aligned with organizational objectives, operational needs, and technical requirements. The individual will develop detailed project plans, manage timelines and deliverables, communicate project status to stakeholders, and drive successful project outcomes across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, and can effectively manage shifting priorities while leading high-impact technology initiatives from inception through completion.

Requirements

  • Proven project management skills, including project planning, creation of the project plan, execution, monitoring, and control.
  • Adaptable to waterfall, agile, and hybrid project delivery.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communicator.
  • Planning and organizing.
  • Influencing, leading and delegation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, preferably with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex, multi-year technology projects to delivery.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years experience in Medicaid financial management services is a benefit.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.
  • May substitute certification for applicable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed, cross-functional project plans to deliver technology products and services while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and timelines.
  • Oversee projects from initiation through completion, including defining scope, deliverables, resource requirements, and tracking milestones to ensure successful execution.
  • Manage project changes, operational activities, and follow-up actions while ensuring adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and technology standards.
  • Lead project meetings, facilitate status updates, and communicate risks, challenges, resolutions, and progress to stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate across departments and functional leaders to drive initiatives forward, foster alignment, and build consensus in complex or uncertain situations.
  • Hold project team members, key stakeholders, and leadership accountable to project plans, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Plan project capacity effectively by allocating resources, guiding project teams, and ensuring deliverables are completed within established deadlines.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies across projects and functional areas to minimize disruption and improve operational efficiency.
  • Onboard and mentor new project managers, document lessons learned, and recommend process improvements to enhance team performance and project delivery effectiveness.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $100,000-$110,000
