About The Position

GLOVIS America, a global third-party logistics provider headquartered in Irvine, California, is seeking a Project Manager, Strategic Business Planning to support key growth initiatives across its logistics and transportation operations. This role will focus on Hyundai business development initiatives, hydrogen logistics operations, strategic sales support, and cross-functional business planning activities. The ideal candidate will bring experience in logistics, supply chain operations, financial analysis, and business planning while supporting strategic projects that drive operational growth and customer expansion across North America.

Requirements

  • 6–9 years of direct experience in business planning, logistics, supply chain, and/or freight forwarding operations required
  • Experience supporting financial analysis, strategic planning, and account management activities required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across operational, commercial, and leadership teams

Nice To Haves

  • 7–11 years of related experience preferred
  • Experience within healthcare logistics environments preferred
  • Experience within transportation, freight forwarding, or automotive logistics operations preferred
  • Korean bilingual capability preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support analysis of current logistics operations to identify business opportunities aligned with Hyundai Motor Group and affiliated partners
  • Collaborate with Hyundai Motor Group, internal GLOVIS teams, and external partners to support strategic initiatives and operational planning
  • Assist with market research, financial summaries, account support activities, and client coordination
  • Support development of business strategies that strengthen customer relationships and operational capabilities
  • Support hydrogen logistics initiatives through feasibility studies and operational analysis
  • Assist in evaluating expansion opportunities and emerging logistics solutions
  • Contribute to development of mid- and long-term business and operational plans related to hydrogen transportation activities
  • Coordinate cross-functional project activities supporting future logistics operations
  • Assist with development and execution of strategic sales initiatives to support revenue growth objectives
  • Track sales activities, project timelines, and customer follow-up actions
  • Support proposal development, customer presentations, and negotiation preparation activities
  • Coordinate internally across operational and commercial teams throughout the sales cycle
  • Support executive-level strategic initiatives and urgent business projects
  • Perform additional duties and project assignments as required
