About The Position

We are looking for a PMP® certified Project Manager (PM) with proven experience in planning and controlling construction projects, to remotely manage the monitoring and optimization of the schedule for 3 simultaneous projects in Mexico. The main focus of the role will be on time control, critical path analysis, deviation identification, and executive report generation, working in daily coordination with engineers, residents, and supervisors on site. We are looking for a highly analytical, organized, detail-oriented person with the ability to proactively detect risks.

Requirements

Valid PMP® certification issued by PMI. Excluded.
Between 3 and 5 years or more of experience in planning, monitoring, and controlling construction projects.
Concrete experience in projects of:
Infrastructure.
Residential or commercial building.
Civil works.
Large-scale renovations.
Experience managing the schedule of 2 or 3 projects in parallel.
Advanced proficiency in planning tools such as:
Microsoft Project.
Primavera P6.
Or equivalent tools.
Solid knowledge of:
Critical Path Method (CPM).
Baseline management.
Variance analysis.
Forecast of dates and milestones.
Monitoring of physical site progress.
Excellent remote communication and coordination skills.
Reside in Mexico or any LATAM country with availability to work fully aligned with the project schedule in Mexico.
Important: we are looking for profiles with real experience in construction and civil works. Profiles whose main Project Management experience is exclusively linked to software or IT development will not be considered.

Nice To Haves

Experience using Zoho Projects for task management, time tracking, and team communication.
Previous experience in remote monitoring of construction projects.
Knowledge of Zoho Projects is not exclusive. If you have solid experience in MS Project or Primavera P6, openness and learning ability are expected to adopt Zoho Projects during the first week.

Responsibilities

Structure, update, and optimize the baselines and schedules of ongoing projects.
Monitor the progress of the 3 projects and compare actual progress versus planning.
Analyze the critical path using CPM methodology, identifying deviations, float, and activities that may compromise delivery dates.
Anticipate delay risks and generate alerts and recommendations for management.
Coordinate remotely with site residents, engineers, and supervisors to obtain accurate information on the physical progress of each project.
Establish effective monitoring routines and channels with field teams.
Prepare weekly executive reports on:
Schedule progress.
Variations versus planning.
Critical activities.
Risks and deviations.
Projection of milestone achievement and closing dates.
Propose corrective actions and planning adjustments when necessary.
